\"\"<\/a>A delegation of the Mobility Area of the Terrassa City Council will visit before the summer of this year the Irish city of Galway to share and learn about sustainable mobility experiences. Through the service of European and international relations arose a few months ago the candidacy of the Urban System in Terrassa to apply\u00a0for a study visit in the framework of the programme Civitas Satellite.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Urban System in Terrassa includes\u00a0eleven towns of the Vall\u00e8s area, operating as a metropolitan area in the European network Eurocities. Candidacy detailed some of bets of Terrassa in recent years in the field of sustainable mobility, as the project Ambicia’t\u00a0<\/em>(public bicycle service), the development of a sound map of the city, a fleet of bicycles to students and teachers from the campus of the UPC and a project of shuttle bus to connect train station and polygons.<\/span>
\n\"\"<\/a>Terrassa also explained that last\u00a02016 approved the Plan of Mobility (2016-2021), plan which, among other objectives, aims to reduce by 12% the use of vehicle in the city, as well as increasing the use of public transport and bicycle.<\/span><\/p>\n
