The Chamber of Terrassa has hosted one of the official meetings of the partners of the
European project Libeccio.
The welcome was given by the head of the Tourism Service of the Terrassa City Council,
Jordi Garreta. The president of the Chamber, Ramon Talam\u00e0s, Maura Mingozzi, coordinator
of the LIBECCIO project, Axel Rodr\u00edguez, \u201cproject officer\u201d of INTERREG MED, and Josep
Rodr\u00edguez, representative of the Diputaci\u00f3 de Barcelona and responsible for the
horizontal project of the sustainable tourism mission, also participated.
The LIBECCIO project is part of the framework of the Interreg Euro-MED programme, a
European initiative that aims to strengthen cooperation between Mediterranean regions to
face common challenges in areas such as economic development, sustainability and
innovation.
The project is coordinated and led by the Emilia-Romagna Region, through its Directorate
General of Knowledge, Research, Labour and Business, and has the collaboration of a
group of partners from various European regions, including the City Council and the
Chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
