The city of Terrassa received a delegation from the French city of Evry Courcouronnes last April 19.

A delegation of 10 members from the areas of Attractiveness, Cinema, Youth, Territorial Management and Innovation, Universities, and Town Planning of Evry-Courcouronnes City Council visited Terrassa to learn about and exchange ideas on City Branding strategies and share good practices of local policies adopted by each city.

The city of Evry-Courcouronnes, located on the Île de France and with almost 70,000 inhabitants, contacted the Office for European and International Relations in Terrassa City Council and showed interest in the international strategy that Terrassa applies in the field of sport, cinema, heritage and universities. The visit was financed by the european Erasmus+ Program.

This meeting was possible thanks to the participation of the Terrassa Metropolitan Area in the City Branding working group of EUROCITIES, where cities are encouraged to collaborate, create alliances and discuss future city-branding strategies in order to improve their attractiveness.
