On March 9 and 10, the office for European and International Relations went to Palma de Mallorca to participate in the round table “The social, economic and environmental balance of the 2030 Agenda at local level” organized by the 2030 Agenda Network of the FEMP.
The conference revolved around the relationship between the 2030 Agenda and the social, economic and environmental dimension, as well as the integration of the Agenda at the local level. In fact, the 2030 Agenda was set up as a road map to move towards sustainable development through public policies that integrate these dimensions. Local governments have seen the 2030 Agenda as an opportunity, which is why they are integrating the SDGs into their strategic planning, especially in their local urban agendas; as well as in the set of local impact policies, while generating innovative projects with the aim of achieving a sustainable, comprehensive, egalitarian and supportive development.
The city of Terrassa continues to adapt public policies to the 2030 Agenda, being one of the cities most committed to the Sustainable Development Goals throughout Catalonia.
