A delegation from the Civil Protection Service of Terrassa City Council has traveled to Turku, Finland, to participate in the second consortium meeting of the European project RESIST (Regions for climate change resilience through innovation, science and technology). The partners met to present new project activities, discuss new tools for developing nature-based solutions, and had the opportunity to visit a stormwater management system.

The RESIST project is funded by the Horizon Europe program and its implementation period will be from 2022 to 2027. Its objective is to strengthen resilience, accelerate transformation and increase the adaptation capacity of 12 climate-vulnerable regions of the European Union, through the implementation of 4 large-scale demonstrators of resilient innovations and strategies for adaptation to climate change (south-east Finland, Denmark, Catalonia, and Central Portugal) and promoting the transfer of knowledge and solutions to 8 twin regions.
